Electric Cinema at BBC Television Centre

Electric Cinema White City and a Summer of Art & Culture at BBC Television Centre

After 53 years of producing groundbreaking programmes the BBC Television Centre is now open to the public. Home to the latest Soho House members club as well as The Allis, a ground floor restaurant and bar, it will soon welcome a new two screen Electric Cinema.

To celebrate this iconic building, creative agency This Must Be The Place are curating a 12 week programme of Arts & Culture and we at the Electric Cinema is joining them.

In the TV centre garden forecourt, artists, illustrators, musicians and charities will take control of a summer-long pop-up screen to explore what culture means to them with beautiful, powerful and creative content. Each Saturday the space will be in the hands of Electric Cinema where we will present a season of Electric curated titles alongside our signature food and drink menu.

Guests can enjoy the films from the comfort of deckchairs, beanbags or even your own picnic blanket. Oh, and did we mention… IT’S ALL FREE! Films will start at 7.30pm every week and will operate on a first come first served policy.

Toast an iconic building, celebrate a summer of culture and see the sun down with a classic film.
